What Project Gauge does

Project Gauge helps customers track equipment calibration, inspection and certification dates in an existing monday.com board. It reads the current board's item names and selected equipment-type column. It stores requirement rules and renewal history in monday instance storage assigned to that app view.

Data processed

The app stores board, column, item and requirement identifiers; equipment-type labels; requirement names; validity and warning rules; renewal and expiry dates; certificate or reference text; monday user ID; and record, correction and void timestamps and reasons.

Equipment item names are fetched for display and are not copied into the saved Project Gauge record. The current version does not collect attachments, email addresses, passwords, API tokens, analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking cookies. Users must not enter health, personnel, payment, government identifier or other sensitive personal information.

Purpose and control

Data is processed to calculate and display equipment renewal status and retain renewal history requested by the customer. The customer controls its board data, user access, instructions and legal basis.

Storage and sharing

Project Gauge uses monday instance storage and monday's client-side hosting. The current pilot has no external application database and does not send board content to advertising, analytics or AI services. monday.com remains governed by the customer's monday agreement and settings.

Retention and deletion

The current pilot has no automatic record expiry. Records remain in the app instance until the customer removes them through an agreed procedure, the provider uses monday's supported storage administration process, or monday applies its platform lifecycle. An authorized deletion request must identify the monday account and Project Gauge installation. The provider verifies the requester and coordinates with the customer account owner where appropriate.

Security

The app requests only boards:read, validates saved data against bounded schemas, relies on safe text rendering and rejects conflicting writes using monday storage versions. Operational statuses are based on customer-entered data and are not an independently certified or immutable audit record.
